SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY aims to promote positive mental health. The organisation aims to prevent suicide by encouraging people to reach out and ask for help when they need it, and to normalise conversations about mental health. The organisation was established by Mitch McPherson in 2013 after his younger brother Ty died by suicide. Mitch’s personal story of loss encourages others to speak up, be chatTY, and seek help when needed.
Founder Mitch McPherson shared his video at the AAIR Annual Forum, and expressed his thanks by visiting the committee to gratefully accept the donation.
