Welcome to the May 2020 edition of The Institutional Researcher.
Dear All
As we move out of restricted lockdown, our lives are slowly entering alert level 2—a new normal—and we are keeping our distance at social gatherings with a limited number of people. In our currently remote but still-connected workplaces, AAIR has launched its Open-AAIR Discussions as part of the Conversations During COVID series! These Conversations are interactive sessions for AAIR members and their interested colleagues.
Ewa Seidel (Flinders University), Penny Szybiak (Charles Darwin University) and Andrew Bradshaw (Macquarie University), facilitated the discussions on Load Planning, while Lisa Bolton and her team at the Social Research Centre ran fabulous sessions on QILT / SES, seeking feedback from those who involved in the preparation of surveys at their institutions. AAIR plans to continue to run Open-AAIR discussions, given that there is so much to discuss.
Please make sure you register for future conversations! Until then, enjoy reading the May issue of the AAIR newsletter!
Keep well and be kind.
