Gone are the days of the finance professional being stuck in a back-office crunching numbers that no-one else seems to understand or even care about.
Now it is all about partnering with the business and creating value. But how do we do that without getting looks of confusion or disinterest that are all too common when we have financial information to share.
Karma will take us on a journey over two sessions, sharing her own stories and taking participants through activities and discussions that will boost the confidence and ability of finance professionals to better tell the stories behind the numbers, and increase the value they provide to the business.

“The art of life is a constant readjustment to our surroundings.” – Kakuzo Okakura
Every day we experience and navigate multiple changes. Some are subtle and may not have major impact – think about your train to work being a few minutes late. But others are significant and will have impact on how you live and work. In an increasingly fast-paced and complex work environment, organisational change is all around us.
In this program, participants will learn the fundamentals of change management and reflect on how they can identify and navigate the breadth of changes within their area/organisation.
Participants will step out of their day-to-day work environment and connect with colleagues from the wider sector who are going through a similar experience. In a safe and supportive space, they will have the opportunity to reflect on how to apply new skills and respond to change in their specific context.
