Guiding principles for transfer of membership within institutional membership
Institutional membership provides flexibility for staff turnover among your nominated members. Transfer of membership can be requested under the following exceptional circumstances. If your staff member is:
- leaving their respective organisation permanently
- moving to a different work unit (not related to IR) within their respective organisation
- going on extended leave such as long service leave, maternity leave, etc.
Any given staff member can be replaced only once a year. That is, if a staff member is replaced but remains at your institution, they cannot then return to your Institutional membership again within that calendar year.
Transfers can be requested up until 30 September of the current calendar year, and during the membership renewal period for the following calendar year (after an invoice has been issued).
